Ever since she first stepped into the glitz and glamour of The Bold and the Beautiful , Lesley-Anne Down has made the most of her role as Jacqueline “Jackie” Payne Marone.  As Jackie, one of her extended fantasies has been to see her son Nick ( Jack Wagner ) live happily ever after with her favorite daughter-in-law, Brooke ( Katherine Kelly Lang ).  Yet another constant that crops up with frightening regularity seems to be Jackie’s obsession with bathtub sequences. Lesley-Anne Down spoke with Soap Opera Weekly about what it’s been like playing bathtub bubble-friendly Jackie on The Bold and the Beautiful .

Guiding Light , the longest-running drama in television history, will be breaking soap barriers at the end of this month. Beginning February 29, viewers will be treated to a brand-new look to the show’s daily episodes.  Say goodbye to the archaic three-walled sets and hello to the permanent four-walled sets with ten-foot high ceilings.  Gone as well are the 300-pound pedestal cameras, all of which will be replaced with handheld eight-pound mini-cameras.
