Days of our Lives begins today with Bo ( Peter Reckell ) and Hope ( Kristian Alfonso ) on a romantic carriage ride going to the spot where they will renew their wedding vows.  And yesss!  We also get more Days of our Lives flashbacks from their first wedding, backin the ’80s when Peter Reckell had a small ferret growing out of his chin and Kristian Alfonso had more meat on her bones. In more ominous news, Lexie ( Renee Jones ) assembles her half-siblings, EJ ( James Scott ) and Tony ( Thaao Penghlis ) to demand to know what is going with Stefano.  In the hospital room, John ( Drake Hogestyn ) tries to smother Stefano ( Joseph Mascolo ) with a pillow.  The thing is, he keeps taking the pillow off his face in order to say some evil words.  Just kill the man, already!

After playing Ziggy Deadmarsh on The Bold and the Beautiful in 2002, Matthew Borlenghi returns to daytime television to join yet another soap.  This time, he’ll be gracing the town of Salem as he joins the cast of Days of our Lives . Thanks to Soaps.com, we now know that Borlenghi will serve be serving as the Mayor of Salem.  While not much has been revealed about his upcoming storyline on Days of our Lives , he did reveal who he will be interacting with when he brings some law and order to the drama-engulfed town.

All My Children has called off future plans for Colin Egglesfield , who presently portrays the highly controversial Joshua Madden on the drama. According to Soap Central, the 35-year-old actor has been taken off his contract, consequently being dropped to recurring status. Egglesfield joined All My Children as the second actor to play Joshua, following the departure of Scott Kinworthy in 2005.  The character was initially the subject of controversial abortion storyline back in the early 1970s, having been the fetus in which the abortion was centered.  When the abortion storyline was rewritten to not have been an abortion after all, controversy ensued again, as viewers felt that it was an undoing of a groundbreaking event in television history.  Although this storyline created buzz for several months, Joshua’s storyline gradually dried up.  Most recently, he was featured having a one-night stand with Greenlee Smythe (Rebecca Budig).

‘All My Children’ Drops Colin Egglesfield to Recurring Status

Since 2007, Billy Miller has been portraying bad boy Richie Novak on All My Children .  Now, he’s ready to make his mark on yet another soap.  According to Soaps.com, the 28-year-old actor will soon be heading to The Young and the Restless to play the often recast Billy Abbott. The son of diva Jill Abbott ( Jess Walton ) and deceased John Abbott (Jerry Douglas), Billy Abbot was first played by David Tom in 1999.  For his portrayal of the role, Tom won an Emmy Award in 2000.  When Tom decided to leave The Young and Restless in 2002, Ryan Brown took over the character, though he only stayed until 2003.  Then Scott Seymour was cast as the third actor to portray Billy Abbot but he only lingered on the series for a few months during the end of 2006.
