Previously on Days of our Lives , Lucas ( Bryan Dattilo ) asked Chloe ( Nadia Bjorlin ) to join him at the Horton cabin but Kate ( Lauren Koslow ) showed up and insulted Lucas’ choice in women.  Sami ( Alison Sweeney ) learned that she and Lucas are being granted joint custody of Allie but refused to share her daughter with him.  Lexie (Renée Jones) told Daniel (Shawn Christian) that she can no longer be his friend, while Daniel told Hope ( Kristian Alfonso ) that he still loves Chelsea ( Rachel Melvin ).  As for Marlena ( Deidre Hall ), she told John ( Drake Hogestyn ) it’s over between them and that she has accepted a date with Trent (Roscoe Born).
