On September 8th 2011, All My Children lost original cast member Mary Fickett. Fickett, 83, played matriarch Ruth Martin from the show’s inception in 1970 until its 30th Anniversary in 2000. The song is “One Sweet Day” by Mariah Carey & Boyz II Men. No copyright infringement intended.

Krystal’s making a list of things she’s going to do for the future and Tad offers to help her out. When she can’t fall asleep she goes to her restaurant and Liza shows up and has a drink with her, talking about how she has no friends and how she feels alone. Brot’s feeling guilty about the baby swap and tells Natalia about it, along with another thing he’s feeling guilty about that happened in Iraq. Jake and Ryan talk about living in their fathers shadows and how they’ve spent their lives trying to get out of said shadow. Greenlee heads over to Kendall’s place to tell her about a new idea she has for Fusion, and Kendall loves it but says they need to put it on hold for right now so she can spend time with Zach. Some how this segues into Greenlee feeling alone and how everyone always leaves her (with a Leo mention that quickly pulled at my heartstrings but then that quickly faded, like every good thing on this show, obviously.) Ryan shows up and Kenlee tell each other they love one another giving each other sexy bedroom eyes, with a little tear or two mixed in, before Rylee leave

Ryan’s been shot by Zach and everyone in the room is freaking out over it besides Zach. Zach’s telling him that what’s one or two men’s deaths when they’re going to be saving 1000′s with the Orpheus Project. It comes out that David knew about Ricky and Zach’s plane crash. Cara tells Kendall she’s pregnant with David’s baby.

David shows up and talks to Zach telling him to stop making such a scene over Ryan because he’s only putting the other OP patients at risk. Tad/Jake talk about finding love and how Jake wants another little boy and how they may adopt a child. Krystal/Dixie talk about who Dixie saw while she was with David and Krystal tells her about Babe.
