After six years since he last appeared on General Hospital , A Martinez returns to daytime television. However, he won’t be reprising his mobster- FBI informant role he once made famous.  This time, he’ll be appearing One Life to Live in a newly created role that goes by the name of Ray Montez. Though introduced to viewers as Cruz Castillo on Santa Barbara , Martinez became an even more popular household name when he was cast as Roy DiLucca on General Hospital from 1999 to 2002.

On Friday’s episode of One Life to Live , an uncomfortable Gigi (Farah Fath) hid her feelings for Rex ( John-Paul Lavoisier ) as she watched him and Shane (Austin Williams) bond over a video game. On the other hand, she’s happy to have been offered a job as Natalie’s ( Melissa Archer ) assistant at Buchanan Enterprises. Clint ( Jerry ver Dorn ) and Bo ( Robert S. Woods ) met with Virgil, who smugly made it known that he is very capable of bringing down Asa’s empire.

David Chisum has established a solid career in daytime television, starring on the hit ABC soap One Life to Live .  However, Chisum admits that he only started paying attention to soap operas after he decided to give daytime acting a try. “I never watched soap operas,” he told eyeonsoaps.com’s Belinda Ache, “probably because I wasn’t home during the days and no one in my family watched the soaps.  I began to study them when I started auditioning for the soaps.”
