Days of our Lives opens today in the Brady Pub. Steve ( Stephen Nichols ) tells Caroline ( Peggy McCay ) that he is opening up shop as a private investigator. In Marseilles, Max ( Darin Brooks ) and Stephanie ( Shelley Hennig ) are still locked up. Melanie has come back with candy bars for Max and Stephanie and the news that she can’t get her gal pal Tiffany to come back and drop the charges. Max threatens to call Trent for bail money. Meanwhile, Trent calls up Nick Fallon ( Blake Berris ) who has come to France to help out his bro Max. Trent offers to overnight him some important papers and wants to know where he is staying – a transparent way of finding out if Nick is in France.
