In The Beginning...
Hi! We're the Whites!
Our family has attended festivals and craft shows as vendors for several years. We started out helping my parents work at festivals, then began to sell our own various items. We have been to hundreds of festivals and indoor craft shows over the years. At one of the craft shows, I purchased some handmade soap and needless to say, I became hooked! I bought handmade soap at almost every show and festival we worked! The benefits I noticed with my skin kept me coming back for more. After a year or so I thought, if you like handmade natural soap so much, why don't you start making your own? My creative side was churning and my entrepreneurial spirit kicked in. In January of 2011 we started our first batch of soap and have never stopped.
Our artisan soaps are made with the finest oils and butters to create a natural soap that is gentle on the skin. Made from natural oils such as coconut, palm, castor, and olive, our soap will not irritate or dry out the skin. They also do not contain any artificial cleansers! Many of our soaps are also enriched with shea butter, cocoa butter, aloe, Vitamin E oil and more. We also use essential oils and fragrance oils to provide a complete aromatherapy experience.
Our natural soaps are carefully made in small batches with high quality ingredients then are hand cut which makes each bar vary in small degrees. Our soap cures for 3-6 weeks, depending on if it was made with water or milks which allows them to become hard, long lasting bars of soap. Some of our soaps are made with raw goat milk, herbal teas, herb infused oils , yogurt, sour cream and distilled water. This makes each batch a little different and special. The saponification of cold process soap naturally produces glycerin as a byproduct (which your store bought soaps have this glycerin pulled out of their soap batches and placed into lotions). So you can feel the difference from the start how natural soaps are more conditioning to your skin.
