Ever since she first stepped into the glitz and glamour of The Bold and the Beautiful , Lesley-Anne Down has made the most of her role as Jacqueline “Jackie” Payne Marone.  As Jackie, one of her extended fantasies has been to see her son Nick ( Jack Wagner ) live happily ever after with her favorite daughter-in-law, Brooke ( Katherine Kelly Lang ).  Yet another constant that crops up with frightening regularity seems to be Jackie’s obsession with bathtub sequences. Lesley-Anne Down spoke with Soap Opera Weekly about what it’s been like playing bathtub bubble-friendly Jackie on The Bold and the Beautiful .

Back in December, we reported on how Mykel Shannon Jenkins, winner of season 1 of SOAPnet’s I Wanna Be A Soap Star , was upbeat despite his character’s demise on General Hospital .  Since then, he’s found another gig as Detective Charlie Baker on another daytime drama, The Bold and the Beautiful . It seems his positive attitude and dogged determination are now paying off, with a nomination for Outstanding Actor in a Daytime Drama Series at the 39th Annual NAACP Image Awards.

Much like the exodus of returning cast members on ABC’s All My Children , CBS’ The Bold and the Beautiful will also welcome another familiar face towards the end of the month.  After Patrick Duffy’s reprisal of his role as Stephen, patriarch of the Logan clan, now comes Ian Buchanan, all set to once again assume the part of Dr. James Warwick. Buchanan originated the role of Taylor’s ( Hunter Tylo ) psychiatrist mentor and friend back in 1993.  He last played the character on The Bold and the Beautiful in 2002.
