As Michael Horton, Jr. on Days of Our Lives , actor Wesley Eure has gained his fair share of popularity. However, he is also known for his work in the children’s adventure series Land of the Lost . The 1974 show was produced by Sid and Marty Krofft, earning its place in history as it ran for three seasons on NBC. Since it seems as though we’re living in the age of comebacks, the cult-classic Land of the Lost has been picked up to become a film. Production began last year, and it’s set to be released next month. Two of the show’s original stars – Wesley Eure and Kathy Coleman – have been tapped for cameos in the big screen version.

Lisa Rinna may have appeared on Melrose Place, Veronica Mars and as a contestant on Dancing with the Stars but she’ll always be remembered as Billie Reed on Days of our Lives . It may be more than five years since she last graced the daytime world but the 45-year-old actress is still making news. Rinna, who recently hosted a live Red Carpet arrivals gig at the Golden Globes, is now gearing up for her newest in-front-of-the-camera venture: a scripted reality show. How a "reality" show can be scripted remains to be seen. On the other hand, Rinna explains that the purpose of scripting the new series is to ensure that it will be a comedy. A pilot for the series will be shot for the TV Land cable channel in the next few weeks.
