episode of One Life to Live from June 13, 2011

Tess’ condition is updated and it comes as good news to Robert, who is dressed as a nun
to keep watch on his love. John and Natalie discuss Clint’s condition, before succumbing
to their feelings for each other by exchanging a passionate kiss. Rex denounces his
affiliation with his father, while his bride-to-be gets trapped in Jack’s plan.

High Five Highlights:

5. Hopefully Matthew Doesn’t Carry Any Quitter’s DNA: Nora realizes that Bo
is proceeding with the plan to kill their son in order to save his brother. John reassures
Natalie that her DNA restricts her from giving up on saving her father.

4. Regarding Tess: The plan to administer dangerous electroshock therapy on
Tess proves to be a failure. Jessica’s psychological well-being remains at risk, but Robert
is happy to hear that the love of his life was not taken from him.

3. Gigi’s Busy Day: Gigi has a talk with Roxy that ends up in her acquiring a
tape potentially holding the secret to who is Liam’s father. She isn’t able to listen to
it immediately, however, because she still has to confront Jack about his treatment of
Shane. Lest we forget that sometime in this day she’s supposed to be getting married.

2. Natalie Makes Her Move: Clint’s insistence that Natalie get back with the
man she loves proves to have done the trick. Natalie confronts John about how much
she appreciated his efforts to save Liam and expresses her feelings that they should be
together.

1. Gigi Is in Big Trouble: Gigi falls into the trap Jack had set for Shane. She
finds herself locked in a dark room, but her resourcefulness enables her to realize that a

generator is in the room. Unfortunately, she fails to realize that the machine is letting off
noxious fumes that could potentially kill her.

High Five Highlights:

5. Matthew’s Heart Could Potentially Save Clint’s Life: Bo comes to terms with the fact that his brother’s life could be saved by the end of his son’s. But the show seems determined to drag this decision out as long as humanly possible.

3. Jack Raises the Stakes: Jack thinks of the next step to embarrass Shane and plans to carry it out immediately. This marks the first time in history that a criminal mastermind has devised his plan wearing a shirt with a red beer pong cup on the front.

2. Clint Lays Out His Dying Wish: Clint instructs his children that all he wants before he dies is to hear that his children are happy and with the people they are meant to be with.

5. Matthew Shows No Sign of Improvement: Matthew’s family faces a difficult decision to give up on his care and take him off life support. His mother finds evidence online of similar patients showing stark improvement from brain injuries.

4. Gigi and Rex Plan an Impromptu Wedding: In light of Matthew’s condition, the couple feels that an elaborate wedding would be in bad taste. So they decide to go to the courthouse to get married … today. Shane is delighted about the news, and Rex flashes a “West Side” gang sign to him to hammer home their excitement.

3. Another Dastardly Deed Perpetuated by the Coward Robert Ford: Robert explains to James that he has been visiting Tess in the asylum. He goes on to extol how he exploited the fact that a blind nurse was on duty to sneak around his ban from the hospital.

2. Jack is Saved by Stupidity: Jack has an idea to start a MyFace page to support Matthew’s recovery, but Starr opens his laptop to find his IM session between ComicGurl15 and Shane (yes, it’s still going on). She sees the name ComicGurl, but somehow she manages to miss Shane’s face staring right back at her.

1. Clint’s Transplant Hopes Improve: Rex informs Bo that his brother’s condition has worsened, but that he is high on the transplant list.
